I have to admit that I was a little bit skeptical about this book. First time author, hollywood type (writer/exec. producer for shows like "Prison Break", "Law and Order", and the "Sopranos"), first book to be published by State Street Press (Borders Group, Inc.). But "Slip & Fall" surprised me from the start. With tight pacing, and characters that you care about, this book is a top-notch thriller.
Robert Principe is a young lawyer with a struggling law practice. When his sister needs help and his wife becomes pregnant, he hatches a one-time only scheme with his mobster cousin. When the scheme works too well, Robert finds that the mob won't let him out so easily. Slip & Fall is the story of a good man who makes a bad decision that just might cost him, and his family, everything.
