Cheerios, Elvis, and Mrs. Oh my!

When you're two and a half going on three, it seems that nothing beats being able to help out around the house. This morning, after a breakfast appetizer of grapes and orange juice, Peanut decided that she wanted to have some Fruity Cheerios. I asked her if she knew where they were, and sure enough...

With breakfast behind us, Peanut and I decided to do some fall cleaning. Kitchen counters, stove, floors...

It's good to know that she'll be able to handle chores when she's old enough. Of course, considering she kept letting her hair drag on the floor while cleaning it, I think we'll wait a while to make her start earning an allowance.

Moving on, tonight Jen and I went to a wedding reception for some friends and were treated to an Elvis impersonator. That's right. An Elvis impersonator performed for roughly 20 minutes and this reception. I'm not judging our friends, but now Jen and I can say that nothing at any wedding we'll ever attend, can trump the King.

Also, noticed something funny about our name cards for our seating arrangements.

The card on the left says "Mrs. Jen Swanson". You may notice the card on the right...

That's right. "Mrs. Gregory Swanson".

I can't even put into words how funny I thought that was. Don't ask how I had to prove that it was a typo.

That is hysterical! Was it a typo? How good of friends are these? Tell peanut that I too love fruity cheerios.
