Blogs, blogging, bloggers, and other things that have to do with blogs

A while back, over on a great blog called Dad Gone Mad, Danny Evans invited his readers to post comments featuring either their favorite blogs or their own blogs. The response was huge. Over a hundred different blogs were posted about, creating exposure for those of us who don't have the following the DGM has, and spreading some blogger love throughout the interweb.

Well, last week, over at Random Ramblings, DeeDee posted the entire list of blogs that were mentioned. She lists them in the order that they appeared on DGM, so there's no favoritism involved, just some great blogs for your browsing pleasure.

A few brave bloggers are attempting to go through the entire list, leaving comments on every single one, leaving the blogosphere better than the way they found it. So head over to the list, check out some blogs, and spread the love.

Let me know if you stumble across any new favorites.

p.s. I'll be keeping track of my progress over there on the right.

Of course, among the top Blogs in the blogosphere is One Carbon Hill...but, I also really like "The Undomestic Diva" and "I'm No Belle".

I am going to start making my rounds. Can't very well hope for comments if I don't do so myself! Thanks for the link to the list.

I'm in second place making my way down the list. The only reason Backpacking Dad won is because he's a robot...I swear!!!

Love your blog :)

I especially love that Xbox4NappyRash one, great stuff ;0)

serious, it is a great list with some very very good blogs, and it's excellent to have them in on decent list.

Well done DeeDee

Parker, remind me to slip you a $10next time I see you. And if it ever comes to it, your my first choice for an agent!

I've decided to make my way through the list. I've found some amazing and talented bloggers through lists just like that one, and I'm always open to finding more. I love that Dad Gone Mad. The guy cracks me up!

OMG, I just committed one of my own pet peeves (see current blog post for details).

Parker, you'RE (not your) my first choice for an agent.

I copied DeeDee and my goodness what an avalanche! (and I cheated and added my favourite blogs to the list too)

My family may never see me again, but I think I'll take on this challenge.

I should be seeing you at my blog soon (depending on how fast you move through the list).

From your list of links and what I've read so far, I think we'd get along great-- I pretend I'm a writer by blogging, too! lol

I'm a relatively new blogger and found the list as well. What fun! It's nice to have a list with good, fun bloggy folks.

I'm starting at the bottom of the list so you're something like #6. Not that we're ranking right?

tootsie: Yes, it is. I've seen a lot of great blogs so far.

Parker: OCH is on of my favorites as well.

rikki: Now you can finally have a productive nap time. :)

Madwomanmeg: Thanks for the love, and I agree.

xbox4nappyrash: I agree with you, as well: kudos to DeeDee for helping us all on our way.

themrs: Are you suggesting that I don't crack you up? Since you didn't say that I did, I can only assume you're trying to hurt me. That's it, I'm not paying for your fuel to come herre and pick Jen up when she goes to the hospital. :)

missy m: Cheated, eh? More blogs, eh? Excellent.

Literal Dan: Haven't gotten there yet, but I will soon.

backpacking dad: Awesome? Sure. Robot? Who can say? But if you went through the list as fast as it seems, then shouldn't someone call DCFS? You know, what with all the neglect and all. :)

merecat: Yeah, turns out bloggers are a great bunch of folks.

jacki: Yes! I'm #6!!! Oh wait, you said you started at the bottom? Shit.

Thanks for dropping by!

I continue to be amazed at how DGM's original little request has exploded and connected so many people.
